# Connect X API

# Setting Up Your X API Credentials in Mondo Posts

Follow these simple steps to set up your X API credentials in Mondo Posts. This guide is designed for non-technical users, so no prior technical knowledge is required.

## Step 1: Log in to Your X Account

1. Open your web browser and go to the X Developer Portal: [https://developer.x.com](https://developer.x.com).
2. Log in using your X account credentials.

## Step 2: Create a New App

1. Once logged in, navigate to the **Apps** section.
2. Click on the **Create App** button.
3. Fill in the required details for your app (e.g., name, description, and website URL).
4. Save your app by clicking **Create** or **Save**.

## Step 3: Locate Your API Credentials

1. After creating your app, go to the **Keys and Tokens** section of your app.
2. Copy the following credentials:
   * **API Key**
   * **API Secret Key**
   * **Access Token**
   * **Access Token Secret**

## Step 4: Open Mondo Posts

1. Log in to your Mondo Posts account at [https://posts.trymondo.com](https://posts.trymondo.com).
2. Navigate to the **Settings** section.

## Step 5: Enter Your X API Credentials

1. In the **Settings** section, find the **API Integrations** or **X Integration** option.
2. Paste the credentials you copied earlier into the corresponding fields:
   * API Key
   * API Secret Key
   * Access Token
   * Access Token Secret
3. Click **Save** or **Connect** to finalize the setup.

## Step 6: Test the Connection

1. Go back to the Mondo Posts dashboard.
2. Create a test post and try publishing it to X.
3. If the post is successfully published, your setup is complete!
